Has any one tried out the convert option in the MQ Input Node properties where we can change the encoding and CCSID of the input messages?
There seems to be a problem with this setting,as it is not doing the conversion as expected,
Please let me know your inputs if any one has tried it out, thnx |

You shouldn't want to change the encoding or CCSID of the message, which describes the message format you're reading. You might want to convert it into the encoding & CCSID of the target platform (which is what the convert option on the MQInput node does).
Is this connected to your other post:

If I try to do the conversion of CodedCharSetId in the MQInput node the flow fails, and if I do it in a compute node everything goes well. Is not the same? |

No. One's done by WMQ, one's done by WMB.
Also the flow wouldn't fail if the failure node of the MQInput was wired up. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
