We have a production Windows 2003 Server with raid drivers. The server is starting to transmit hard disk errors, meaning one or more of our drivers are starting to go bad. Therefore, we need a backup server in case it crashes.
We’re trying to load a test server with the same software as our production server.
Our production server has the following software loaded:
• DB2 Enterprise Server Edition v8.2
• IBM WebSphere MQ for Windows v5.3
• IBM WebSphere Application Server v5.1 (we also load IBM
HTTP Administration & Server v1.3.28, which is located on this
CD)
• IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow v3.5
• MSSQLSERVER
• Ascent Capture (scanning)
• RightFax
We load the first four items up above in that order and everything seems to load fine. When we go the IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow Configuration Utility screen to set it up like production, on the Runtime Database tab (second tab), it allows us to highlight the DB2 instance name and the existing database name, but as soon as we hit ‘Next’, the following error occurs: FMC33703E The selected DB2 database is not a valid WebSphere MQ Workflow Runtime database.
The database exists and it appears to be valid.
Any feedback on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
