We’re having trouble connecting usng MQCONNX when running the amqscnxc.c sample code on Solaris 10 - unmodified here are the results:
Code: |
peri@JCMW {6} amqscnxc -x '10.144.13.24(1418)' LRWEBMQCT
Sample AMQSCNXC start
Connecting to queue manager LRWEBMQCT
using the server connection channel SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN
on connection name 10.144.13.24(1418).
AMQSCNXC ended with reason code 2195
peri@JCMW {7} |
Reason code 2195 is MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR.
We did add this environment variable, though I don’t think it is used…
MQSERVER=LRWEBMQCT/TCP/10.144.13.24(1418)
We get the same result no matter what IP address we use, no matter what port, and when specifying no port (using the default port).
Are there a thousand ways to get this message, or is there something specific someone can point me at? Thanks! |

At least a thousand. Look up the probe id in the matching FDC file.
Search the forum for 2195 and/or FDC as these topics have been much discussed. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks, Vitor. We're new to MQ Series, and we now think that the MQ client wasn't installed correctly. |

What do you get when you run the command:
dspmqver
You should get some output like:
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.2.2
CMVC level: p600-202-070801
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
