I have an AIX system running on 32 bit mode. MQ6.0.2 has been installed on this system. Now we are planning to change the system to 64 bit mode.
Is there any need to reinstall the MQ when system is running on 64 bit mode or just changing the LIBPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH will work?

No need to reinstall - the V.6 Queue Manager runs in 64-bit mode whatever kernel you are using. Read the section in the QB entitled 'Implications of 64-bit Queue Manager' before changing your LIBPATH/LD_LIBRARY_PATH - there is no MQ reason to change this. Applications can continue to run in 32 or 64-bit mode. _________________ Philip Morten
