Hi

I have seen in the MQ documentation that Z/OS doesn't support distribution lists. We have Windows NT and os/390 as diverse platforms that communicate via MQ. If we create distribution list on Windows NT to send a message to multiple queues on OS/390, does it work ?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
ind76

The MQSeries works it generates a message for each queue and places it
on the transmit queue. We used it with UNIX and OS390 with no issues

I still need to be clarified on something. You say a message per each queue will be put on the transmit queue. Is it true even the queue destinations are on the same queue manager ? I thought by distribution lists, a message can be sent to multiple queues on the same queue manager by putting a single message on the transmit queue to reduce the network traffic.

Please clarify,

Thanks,
