Hi,

We are trying to set up bi-directional communication between qmgrs on Windows and Unix platform respectively. The channel from windows to Unix is working fine.
When I try to start the sender channel from Unix, the channel goes into 'retry' status and AMQERR01.LOG in Unix has the following information

AMQ9202: Remote host 'ustca563 (165.28.29.102) (1415)' not available, retry later.

The listener in windows is configured to listen at port 1415.

Thanks,
Veena

The message means exactly what it says. Either the Windows listener isn't running (and I know you said it's been configured - doesn't mean it's either been started or stayed started) or something in the network is preventing connectivity.

This sort of thing has been discussed many times on the forum. You may get some useful tips from a search.
