I have to manage boxes with MQSI 2.01 and MQSI 2.1 from my laptop
How can I configure the control center to allow me to do this?
If I install MQSI 2.1 Control Center and try to manage an MQSI 2.01 box I get an error saying that it is a previous version and if I installed MQSI 2.01 Control Center then it wouldnt understand the 2.1 features

Brian,
In order to have 2 control centers on the same machine, one to manage WMQI 2.1 and the other to manage MQSI 2.0.1, there will have to be 2 versions of the software installed. WMQI 2.1 must be installed first, then 2.0.1. If there is a problem in installing 2.0.1, make sure the 2.1 version was a fresh install and was not an upgrade as there would have been some registry entries left around and thus causing the install of 2.0.1 not to proceed. I do not believe this information is available in the administration guide as it only covers migration issues and not co-existance issues between 2.0.1 and 2.1 |
