I have C# API program that uses MQ client connection to connect to Queue manager on AIX. I have created a server connection channel on AIX and specified a user ID under MCAUSER. The C# program on Windows 2003 uses this channel and tries to connect to queue manager using the ID specified on the channel. However I am getting Application Error message when trying to execute program on Windows. There is no MQ reason code to debug with. I tried to use Client RFHUtil and the same channel. I get an authorization error with that.

Is there any other setup required for this to work?

There should be. Check your error handling.

That sounds like the problem with your app.

No. Check the authorisations associated with the user id in MCAUser
