Hi,

What should I do with the messages in
SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT
?

Can I clear them ?, should I set the expire timeouts on that queue so those are deleted ?

Some qmgrs get lots and lots of msgs there....

Well you could process them, or you could ignore them, or you could clear them. Depends what your requirements are.

News to me you could set expiry at queue level rather than message level; how do you set that?

Those would be the queue managers with channel events enabled. If you don't want the messages, I'd recommend disabling the events.

Put-inhibiting the queue is an easy way to stop channel event messages.

But these messages usually mean that you have channel problems that you might want to investigate and resolve.
