Hello,

In the IBM manual "Getting started with RunTime MQWF3.3.2 " (p27 "Terminating a process instance"), it is written the following thing :

"To immediately stop a running or suspended process instance, select the
process instance : On the Process menu, click Terminate ... The process instance is not erased and can later be restarted or deleted."

I am using MQWF 3.3.2. I log on the runtime client as an ADMIN user.

If I select an instance of a process in a "running" state and if I click right on "Terminate", the selected instance seems to be immediatly deleted (it deasapear from the instance list which has no filter) and in particular the instance can not be restarted.

It seems that it does not correspond to the behavior described in the IBM Runtime manual.

Please, could you explain ?

THANKS.

You might try chaning the option to "Keep finished Processes for N days" this is on the Process tab of the Network objects. Without changing it I believe the default is 0 days and that means you wont see your terminated instance

By default, there is an MQWF server option that automatically deletes all Finished and Terminated process instances and workitems. Therefore, when you select "terminate" for the process instance, it is also doing a "delete" on the instance.

This can be changed in the Buildtime component, by going to the Network tab, Domain properties, Process times tab and selecting an option other than "Never" (keep finished items - which is the default).

Hope this clears things up!
