Hi All,
There is a problem with our configuration manager.
i feel our configuration manager has become inconsistant.
after deployment, some times the changes are getting reflected and some times not as per the code changes.
and the reason i feel is that, i have cancelled the outstanding deployments so many times because of the error BIP1510E.
i have restarted the configuration manager, but the problem still persists.
could you please tell me how to make a configuration manager consistane. |

Thanks Akanksha for the early response.
My problem is:
after restarting the configuration manager i was able to see the changes yesterday.
today again i tried to pass a xml message, but the changes are not getting reflected.
i did not change anything from yesterday onwards.(just went to home and came back to office, thats it. [ ] )
could you please tell me why this has occured. |

Have you checked the broker queues, as detailed in the "Cancelling deployments" section of the help? Sounds like you've got some old messages knocking round. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

yes u got my point correct.
i am sure that, no one has made any changes afterwards, because i am the only person who works on MQ in our company.
in the error description for BIP1510, i saw that, cancelling previous deployments may make config mgr work inconsistantly.
so i am just sticking to that point. (may be wrong)
but i am not able to find a solution for this.
interestingly, today it worked once but immedietely when i tried to pass one more XML message, it did not work. ( no changes made even now also) |

well nothing can happen on its own...
may be u can try stopping and then starting all the components together... or may be restart the machine itself... _________________ Cheers |
