Hi,
I have designed 2 message flows with MQ Input Node, compute Node, MQ Output node. Wherein the computenode of first flow, I am setting OutputRoot.MQMD.Expiry=0. Ideally my message should be an expired message.
First flow output Queue is the input Queue of second Flow. My second message flow ideally should not pickup the expired message. But by resetting the Expiry to current timestamp, the message is being picked up by the second flow.
Explain, how the Expiry is getting reset to curretn timestamp and how an expired message is being getting picked up. Is there any property of MQInput node which is doing this? help me.. |

Why?

Expiry is a number not a timestamp. By setting it to a timestamp, you're actually setting a large expiry value (which must run down before the message is considered expired).

See above. Message expiry is a process within base MQ and nothing to do with any broker node.
