Hi All,

I have been facing strange problem in MQ V6.

I have 3 qmgrs on HP-UX, but some how all the qmgrs were shutdown unexpetedly. When I tried starting the qmgrs, I have been getting the errror "Default objects cannot be created" and the reason code is 2195.

I tried to create a new qmgr as well, but this also gives me the error "error 895 occured".

I am not able to create a new qmgr and not able to start the existing qmgrs.

Could someone please shed some light on this?

Environment details:

Platform: HP-UX Ittanium
MQ6.

Thank you very much.

Check out the matching FDC file, and ask the Unix admin if someone's been modifying any machine kernel settings or file permissions.

1. In what way "...all the qmgrs were shutdown unexpectedly."

2. Any FDC's cut?

I'm assuming this is the output of dspmq.

I'm on vacation in June if that helps.

Of course, there is one among us who checks MQSeries.net while on vacation, and can never be beaten.

Also, I'd guess that the disk subsystem for /var/mqm/qmgrs did not get remounted.

When I said "file permissions", I'd failed to consider the ingenuity of some admins.

The problem certainly smells of non-MQ interference. The FDC file will tell the tale.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the imputs.

When I do view the status of qmgrs below is the o/p.

QMNAME(INTOT1P) STATUS(Ended unexpectedly)
QMNAME(FTPQM) STATUS(Ended unexpectedly)
QMNAME(OTDS1P) STATUS(Ended unexpectedly)

and when I try to start the qmgr, I get the below error.

strmqm OTDS1P
WebSphere MQ queue manager 'OTDS1P' starting.
11 log records accessed on queue manager 'OTDS1P' during the log replay phase.
Log replay for queue manager 'OTDS1P' complete.
Transaction manager state recovered for queue manager 'OTDS1P'.
AMQ5615: Default objects cannot be created: CompCode = 2 Reason = 2195.

Below are the FDCs generated when I tried creating new qmgr and while starting existing qmgr.

I have checked all the permissions for the filesystem, all loooks fine.

Could someone have any clue about this?

cant u try starting your queue managers with -c option

i.e. strmqm -c <QMName>

if this goes well then try

strmqm <QMName>
