hi all,

I am using ih03 supportpac to do MQ performance test without the broker. Can anyone tell whether the MQTIMES utility reads message with one server-connection channel or does it initiate a channel for every message.

Secondly, how can I know how much time does a message take to reach Q Mgr B from Q Mgr A when both the Q Mgrs are on different boxes in different locations. Can the timestamp in the message descriptor be used in some way to achieve this.

MQtimes utility only provides the time it takes to consume message from the local Q Mgr.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Is there any utility which can achieve this i.e. parsing through the MQMD and giving the results or does it need to be done manually.

You can write your own program to do this using MQI calls.

Something like LoadRunner with the MQ driver may automate this.
