... you'll also need to use the overloaded version of the TransactionScope constructor which accepts an EnterpriseServicesInteropOption parameter and set it to EnterpriseServicesInteropOption.Automatic for your transaction to enlist with DTC.

This behavior is strange and is a change from MQ 5.3 (currently using MQ 6.0.2.3).
