I've enabled the statistics monitoring in a Windows 2000 Server environment, running MQ 6.0.2.21, and am trying to determine how long messages are residing in local queues, xmitqs, and being sent over the channels. Unfortunately, not much of that is being presented to me in the real-time monitoring (unfortunately, my customer has not been able to tell me when they were going to be doing the testing, so I haven't been able to coordinate my time to actually WATCH the messages process)... I did find mention of the MQIACH_XMITQ_TIME_INDICATOR in the info-center, but no real detail on how to use it. I get the feeling that it isn't available for an OS other than z/OS, which I have no experience with (or access to). Any additional information about this parameter would be welcome.
Thanks! _________________ "Don't take life too seriously... you won't get out of it alive..." |
