Is there some way of getting the ASCII value of a character in ESQL.
eg. if i have a variable x set to characater 't'
x character
x = A
how can i get 65 from this...
is there some function avaiable in ESQL for this

You could get the ASCII value (in HEX form) by casting the char variable to a BLOB variable. You will have to write your own function to convert hex value to interger.
