Q2) What is the best practice for Operating Workflow in UNIX ?

Q3)Where are the Error Files of Workflow residing in AIX Environment ?

1) Everything except in-flight instances is ease, EXPORT from old DB, import into NEW. For in-flight instances, I beleive you will need to contact IBM.

2)

3) By default the files are in var/fmc/cfgs/<config ID>/logs

4) What do you mean CALL Notification

GOOD LUCK

An in-flight instance is one which has started but not yet completed.

To do anything other than put an entry in a worklist you are going to have to write some code.

John

These questions are the EXACT questions we gave IBM in order for them to find us a consultant. I am guessing that raj was looking to get the information needed to get the sub contract from IBM to be placed at my company.

I have some more information on these questions.

First. IBM does not support the migration of existing processes from the NT platform to a AIX platform. I guess I can understand given the complexity of the DB. However, I have to think it can be done.

This is why..

We currently have no applications that use a PEA or PES. We strictly use UPES and JSP's. So since we have no PES activity steps what ties that process to the NT platform. I guess I just don't get what the problem would be.
