I Have been using saveqmgr to save the entire queue manager object definitions. I am not aware of saveqmgr/another utility that takes queue/channel names as input and saves only those definitions. Has any one came across this utility ?

There isn't such a thing....

at least as far as I know.

You can easily break things up by using the -1 option and then use grep on the output.

If you'd like to see this in a future version of ms03, I'm happy to take feature requests. I won't guarantee a date of implementation, though.

please consider this as a feature request.

I was fishing for couple of definitions in a 100 queue, saveqmgr output. I have tried -1 output. this is much better than choosing definitions manually. but I have to admit the output looks very clumsy with -1 option.
