Guys, I was trying to learn "Configuring an HTTPRequest node to use SSL" from IBM's manual, but seems like an issue. Here's the link:

1) Generated a certificate using the keygentool.
2) Configured broker to use port 7083 for https/SSL calls.
3) When tried "https://localhost:7083/testHTTPS" from IE, I do get

XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource 'https://localhost:7083/testHTTPS'.

But from Firefox, I get an error saying invalid certificate.

4)Created another msg flow with http request node as given in the doc.
5) When placed a msg in the input queue, I see the below error (in debug mode):

An error occurred whilst performing an SSL socket operation
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: unknown certificate

Would appreciate if one of you experts can point out where to look at or what's wrong.

If it is a selfsigned certificate you need to add it to the truststore
