Can anyone help me faster?

shall we install evaluation copy of Websphere MQ server on Solaris 10 box and later replace with licensed version to carry the works. If not why? I am new to this task please help me out.

Hi

You can try trial version and go ahead with the licenced version

Trial version will help you to explore some extends of MQ V6,

Depends on that you can even think of going ahead with licenced version

AFIK MQ V6 is really Robust and stable.

Depends if you have a licensed version or not. If you have use that.

Get some training. WMQ is not a straightforward product & is easy to get wrong if you're uncertain. Or at least not used to it's best advantage.

You usually have to uninstall the trial in order to install the fully licensed.

Hi Peter,

i gone thru the link you provided. it is quite great. but i did not understand one thing that when we can use setmqprd ? while installing the licensed version on trial version? Or before licensed version installation do we need to execute it?
