I tried creating a queue manager QM using crtmqm.
Befor it could create QM, i decided to interrupt it.

dspmq shows QM has ended normally.

but when endmqm, it said QM is not available.
when dltmqm, it said QM is running.

I got confused and tried to delete QM manually.

Deleted the mqs_root:[mqm.qmgrs.qm], its logs and errors too.

now that QM has ended, deleted also.

But the problem arises when I try to recreate it again.

crtmqm QM

gives the output:
AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred

Please help me to create the QM.

I am sorry... but what is the platform you are working on?

The reason I am asking is, I thought that if it was Windows then it could be a problem that the Qmgr is having an entry in the registry and thats why manually deleting the QMgr folder won't really have the effect of the Qmgr really getting deleted as would running dltmqm... This is my assumption experts please comment...

If it failed before it could create a queue manager for the first time on a new installation, then the installation is bad or not complete.
