Dear all,
I'm migrating my MQ Serie 5.2.1 to Websphere MQ 6.
My job is to install the websphere mq and put in cluster (2nodes). Is there any good referente or best pratice to do that ? My database is in SQL and IIS 5 as a front end.
Another issue is that i'll put IIS6 in load balance, how i configure that ?
Im new in MQ. Please forgive any stupied question |

There's a migration guide for WMQ. I'm not sure what impact having a database or IIS has to the issue. And surely all databases have SQL?

Ask on an IIS forum!
If you're looking to load balance messages through WMQ, check out the Clustering manual. You may struggle with only 2 nodes though... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

But how can i install IIS as a FrontEnd to MQ ?
This is not with an IIS forum, i'm pretty sure that someone here can help me about it since MQ is the main software. |

How did you do it before?
The two products are really much more separate than you appear to think. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

IIS is an HTTP based Application Server, more or less.
It's the code running in the applications that will connect to MQ.
It's not something that is likely configured in either the IIS server or the MQ queue manager, to make IIS a 'front end'. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
