Hi All,
Does anyone know what conditions would cause MQ to create new QM directories under /var/mqm/qmgrs with ".000" suffix?
These just appeared and seem to be identical to the existing QM directories. E.g. QM1 QM2 QM3 directories now have a corresponding QM1.000 QM2.000 QM3.000 directory. The running QMs are now read/writing from/to the ".000" directories as somehow the mqs.ini has changed to point to them.
How could this happen and should I change the mqs.ini file to point back at the original directories? This is MQv53 on Solaris and I want to know what will happen to these QMs when I migrate them to v6+
