I am quite new to Websphere MQ. I've got a a system where two Queue Managers are intercommunicating (one in Windows NT and the other in Windows 2000) and I am trying to use the Security Authorisation features to prevent unauthorised access.
I have tried to revoke the the authority for given users on the receiving queues but I can still send messages using these user names.
That is, I send a message to remote queue, which gets directed via a transmission queue and a sender/receiver channel to a local queue on a different Queue Manager. The user name for putting onto the remote queue is flagged on the messages that are received by the other Queue Manager. Removing security authorisations for this user for the local queue seem to no effect.
Does anyone have an insight into what I might be doing wrong or be able to suggest a different approach? Any help would be appreciated.

Check the receiver channel definition on the qmgr with the local queue
The parameter PUTAUT it should be set to CONTEXT and not DEF _________________ Jeff
