Queue Manager A (5.3.1 csd 12 ) is on AIX . QMgr B is on Windows XP (5.3.1 csd 12)

I Stopped the channels on QMgr A Sender and Receiver and did the same on Queue Manager B.

No Message are in the Init Q .

When i restart the channels on Qmgr A sender channel reamins in a Binding state.

If I stop this channel (which is now in Binding state) using the Terminate option and later start it starts fine with running state .

Am I doing something incorrect for stopping and starting the channels ?
