Hi,
I have increased the default log primary and seconadary files and restarted the queue manager. still I'm getting an errors saying that log space is not enough. I have increased the logs through the MQ explorer.Do i need to change the setting anywhere else?
Did you increase them to the maximum that they could be?
Did you calculate how big the transactions will be that need to be held in the logs? (Hint - start with the applications - find out how many messages of what size they are sending in a single transaction. THEN think about your channel traffic)
In other words... Are you sure that you increased them *enough*? Maybe you just need to make them bigger.
Making the change in MQExplorer may or may not be sufficient. It depends on where MQExplorer was run and where the qmgr was running. You should alternate means - amqmdain or qm.ini - to verify that the change was applied. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
