Hi There,
I had WMQ v6 with Fixpac 6.0.2.1 was running fine along with WBIMBv6 and WAS6.
I did a blunder mistake by removing FixPac 6.0.2.1 and than uninstall WMQv6. I was just doing an excercise on installation.
Now I could not install WMQv6. I'm keep getting AMQ4739 as follows:
One or more problems occurred. Review the trace and/or log file for details. (AMQ4739)
I have seen lot posts on this and tried every single one but nothing works.
I did following:
1. add Logging in windows registry - Does not work even reboot after this changes.
2. I tried to find and remove Windows Service Terminal from Add/Remove Windows Components but did not find one.
3. Stopped WBIMB services and moved to a different drive
4. Stopped other related services and try install it. Doesn't work.
5. I have also looked at Event Viewer, did not find any clue. Application log in event VIEWER SHOWING event ID 11708, Product: IBM WebSphere MQ -- Installation operation failed. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp
Any feedback would be higly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
Warm Regards, |

So, what does the log file say the error is.

Well, there is no log file msi.log.
I have searched my system and could not find one.
Although, I have setup Logging value to "voicewarmup" in windows registry but still could not find any log file. |

It's been a while since I had to go find the log, but the MQ install definitely does write a log file. It's not a Windows generated log.
