Re the inconsistent connection behaviour when using ms0r, looking at FDC files probeID, suggests it's down to some of our apps using v5 client libraries... and indeed, whenever we have a connection from a v5 client, it breaks the connection! MQv6 Client manual states;
"In general, the internal format of the client channel definition table might change from one release level of WebSphere MQ to the next. Because of this, a WebSphere MQ client can use a client channel definition table only when it has been prepared by a server queue manager that is at the same release level as the client, or at an earlier release level."
On the face of it, looks like we got to rebuild against v6 client libraries... hopefully this will resolve. |
