Hi,

Do you guys do heavy logic and validation outside of the flow then ask ur nodes to do just simple database updates, i wonder how you can debug more efficiently and also program more efficiently using the really frustrating eSQL editor

best regards

There is no one answer to this. I would say it entirely depends on your requirement, application logic processing, environment, budget,... It would be helpful If you could explain application processing here and we will see how best it can be implemented.

We have flows with around 300 nodes in and Compute nodes with 1700 lines of ESQL in. So we have written serious business logic inside the flows. The IDE is not that great, although 2.1 is better.

A lot programmers cut and paste the ESQL into another editor and then back into the node.
