Hi!

This is my picture in my head:

JbossAS/JMS <-----> JMS/Websphere Broker 6.

Just using the JMS standard to send messages between "JMS clients(Jboss)" and the broker(JMS provider?).

Is there anyway to authtenticate the "Client(Jboss)" towards the "Server(MQ broker)".
Is the transport type tcp/ip? And can i cryptate it with SSL??

Best regards!

JNDI/JMS allows you to specify JAAS identities.

MQ channels, including client channels, will run over multiple different network protocals, including tcp/ip.

MQ channels, including client channels, can use SSL.

If you're actually in charge of designing and implementing this "picture in your head", then nothing in this post shows that you are qualified to do so.

The ssl and protocols etc about channels iknow.
How it works with JMS idont, thats why i asked.
In not in charge of designing and implementing "my picture" i just want to know if it is possible, it could be an proposal to an implemention/design.

Ok but anyway JAAS is new for me and something i should look into.

Ok if i use the MQ resource adapter(http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0710_ritchie/0710_ritchie.html) i can provide some parameters to run SSL, but still icant find anything how the authorization should be set.
