Location: INDIA
Problem :- Qmgr ends unexpctedly when I logoff.
OS :- Windows 2003
MQ Version :- MQ 5.3

I have logged into the Server checked for the qmgr(dspmq) it is running fine. I have logged off and logged in. In command prompt I have typed dspmq. Cursor went to next line and it is blinking with out dispaying any status message.

Can you please suggest me what to do. Thanks in Advance.



In logs I found these errors immediately in sequence : -

1) "An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (Subpool Server 1 pid[9276] has terminated while application connected.)"
amqxssvn.exe 9276 RDP-Tcp#88 1 372 K


2) AMQ6184: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred on queue manager MY_QMGR_NAME.

An error has been detected, and the WebSphere MQ error recording routine has
been called. The failing process is process 9792(A java processes)


3) An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (Failed to complete
request to Shared Storage Server)

MQ detected an unexpected error when calling the operating system. The MQ error
recording routine has been called.

You need to run the qmgr with a service Id in the mqm group and admin group. Set it up and reboot the box. Read up on amqmdain (approx spelling check the doc for exact spelling and syntax)

You might also want to move to a supported version of the product as well.
