What are the criteria for "Latest Posts"? Sometimes I select this and I get the following response:

AFAIK it's posts added or changed since the last time you logged in. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It seems I get the same list whether I click on Latest Posts on the home page or View posts since last visit on the Main Forum.
But, it does not always seem to do what you have said. For example, I logged off yesterday around 16:30. I logged in at about 08:45 (CST) this morning (01/29) and have been online ever since (all times are US CST). It is 14:57 now, and when I invoke that, it shows me only one message in the General Discussion category and two in the WBI Support forum. Yet, there are clearly two entries in the General Discussion forum that have been posted since my prior logon, and 15 in the WBI Support forum!
Also, there are posts in General Websphere Support, WebSphere MQ Installation/Configuration Support, Clustering, Mainframe and CICS, WebSphere MQ Java / JMS, WebSphere MQ API Support, WebSphere DataPower, and WebSphere Process Server listed for today's date that do not appear in the list.
So, I ask again... What is this doing? If it is really supposed to be a list of posts since my last logon, then it clearly does not appear work correctly. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Apparently, I thought this would give me the posts since my prior logon, but it only gives the posts since the current logon session. A tool like that would be more useful for the way I use the forums. My mistake! _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

I can't say I've ever audited it, but it seems to give me all the posts since the last time I was on the forum; i.e. checked it last night, read all the unread, logged off, logged on this morning, clicked latest posts and got a screenful of hits which I assume to be everything posted while I was asleep.
Only an assumption though.
I do know that if I log off (or get disconnected) now and then immediately log back in I'll get nothing from a latest posts search. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Bet you 2 things.
While online your first session expired.
You did not have to log back in (autologincookies)
So what you are seeing are the messages since your morning session expired...

Yes, that's what I experience too. I suppose that it is a listing of the posts from the time you last logged off until the present, which would explain why when you logoff and logon immediately afterward, you get an empty list. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

I do like it when we get agreement on the board. Especially when we can agree it's working as designed, though not perhaps as desired! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
