Has anyone else run into this?
I'm running version 6.0.2.1 on AIX. I define a new SVRCONN channel. Display the authority record using dspmqaut and they are correct. Then I delete the channel. I can't display the authority record for the deleted channel using dspmqaut, which is what I expect since the channel no longer exists. However, if I run dmpmqaut or amqoamd, it still returns the authority record for the deleted channel. If I run setmqaut -remove for the channel it says the channel doesn't exist.
This doesn't happen if I try the same procedure for queues. The records are deleted when the queues are deleted.
So where are these authority records stored? /var/mqm/qmgrs/<QMGR>/channel/ does not have a file for the channel after it is deleted.
