Hi All,
just i'm trying to remotely administrate the queue manager using runmqsc
i've the set up like this
have a default queue manager on my machine (QM1)
there is a q mgr on another machine (QM2)
defined channels between these two, they are up and running
issued the command like this
-------------------------
runmqsc -w 30 QM2
define qlocal(BIRLA)
AMQ8416: MQSC timed out waiting for a response from the command server
--------------------
even i tried with by increasing the time out seconds up to 120..but it doesn't work?
can any one suggest me what could be wrong?
thanking you in anticipation
Cheers,

Do you have a DEFAULT communication path from QM2 to QM1? (See intercommunications manual)
Are the replies by any chance in QM2's DLQ? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
