This is more of a functional request. I think it would be nicer, more efficient, and certainly easier to look through, if we could exempt entries in Job Postings and Job Seekers forums from the list when one selects "View unanswered posts", since normally these would not be "answered" anyway. In addition, when trying to search this list for forum entries, they are an actual annoyance.

| We looked around but there are no Admin or Member profile configuration facilities to enable/disable selection/exclusion of different forums. We could mess around with the base php code but not only it will not be straight forward, it will present maintenance and upgrade issues when such times come around. I will add to list and revisit the case at php3 eventual migration time to see if any such alternatives have been made available to be turned on. |

I only started using the "View unanswered posts" in the recent past. I am shocked that no one has brought it up before now, as it was readily apparent to me. But I have noted in recent years, that web designers (or for that matter, even most Java developers) don't seem to deal as much with user functionality as they do their own convenience of implementation. I guess I'm just too "old school".
