I have a slightly embarrasing question.
I know I am running WBIMB version 5.x. How do you tell which patch sets and such have been applied?
The closest thing I can find is this:
S500-L40309_P ( 20:35 Tue 09/03/2004 )
from <install>\readmes\Message.
Basically, is there a broker analog for dspmqver?

The command "mqsiservice -v" will tell you stuff.
But you're only supposed to run that command under the directions of IBM support - and there's no documentation on it at all. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

BIP8998I: CMVC Level: S500-L40309.
So, at least I know the level file had the correct data in it.
How do I translate L40309 into patch set(s)?

First, get a job with the Broker development team at the Hursley lab. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

To be more clear, the number you're concerned about is "500". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So, you are saying that S500 would imply Version 5.0 and no patch sets?

Hi
mqsiservice -v is good command to find version etc.
By about option in MBToolkit we can find version and patch number.
i worked with MB 5.0.5 : which Fix pack 5.
then i shifted to Fix pack 9 : then it shows : MB 5.0.9.
so by this option we can find MB version and fix pack number. _________________ WebSphere MQ, MB Support and Admin |
