Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to create say, once a week, a report with statistics.
I need to know how many messages are handled for several queue's and how this is spread out over the day.

I also have Candle Command Centre available. Maybe there is a way to do it ???

Hope someone can help me with this...

Greetz...

Hi,
I don't know about Candle command centre. But i can suggest that you can build an utility program which can be triggered on for every message from every queue and record the details of the same in a text file or in database.
But it requires bit amount of coding in any particular language either in C,C++,Cobol or java depends the platform.

try the best,

cheers,
Hari

1. Enter the Candle Command Center for MQSeries.
2. Choose Queue Statistics
3. Show Details
4. Choose Queue Manager
5. Queue statistics detail report
6. Choose Queue
7. Choose Historical queue statistics report
8. Choose the time range

In this way you can get the statistics every 15 min in specified time period about spacified queue. The same statistics you can get with Supportpac MP15 (or maybe with MP1B, I din't try it) but there is no need for this because you have got Candle Command Center for MQSeries. Both of them process the MQSeries SMF records.

Hoi Remco,

By default collecting historical information is set to 'NO'. You'll have to specify that you want to collection of historical information & what information to collect.
Check out CCC customization guide.
When you still have problems, try contacting Theo Smeets in the Candle Antwerp office...
