Hi everyone:
I need some help, I'm putting a message in a Remote Queue, and If the data length is more than 160 Bytes, the message don't arrive to the remote QM, and I get this error (the message remains in the channel, until I resolve it):
AMQ9213: A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.
EXPLANATION:
An unexpected error occurred in communications.
ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP(select) [TIMEOUT] 360 seconds call was 11
(X'B'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.
If the message is smaller than that, I have no problem.
I check Queues, Channels and QM max size in every place is 4194304
If anyone can help I would appreciate.
Thanks in advance

Are you using a client connection?
Is there a firewall between you and the qmgr? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

No, a WMB is putting the message in the local QM

Looks like a network error to me. Get your network guys to check transmission sizes around the boundary condition. A 160 byte user msg will actually be 600+ bytes when put on the wire. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

You're experiencing a network error between the local qm and the remote qm.
You need to verify that the channel works okay otherwise, and that you can send the same message (or fail to send the same message) using something like amqsput or etc. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
