J2EE / WEBSPHERE - MCLEAN, VA
- Design, develop and maintain EIS subsystem.
- Design and develop mappings from EDI messages to Java objects
- Design solution using components of WebSphere DataStage
(Acential/Mercator)
- Contribute to developing reusable patterns in mappings
- As part of a team will work with subject matter experts and developer from other subsystems to develop and maintain code that is part of a large scale system.
- Will either create or work from design specifications and deliver code written in WebSphere DataStage.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in software integration testing.
- Participate in design sessions with other teams and track/report progress on tasks and assignments.
- Be able to work in environment with CM controlled multiple baselines.
- Be able to analyze requirements and map the requirements to a technical solution.
- Primary tools used are WebSphere DataStage, WBIMB, db2, Java.
This position will work on M2 as well as M1.
Desired Efficiency:
• Strong applied knowledge of enterprise application integration using J2EE tools (WebSphere Application Server preferred).
• Relevant professional experience of at least 6 years, preferably on a large scale program.
• Good writing/communications skills.
• Some experience working with RDBMS is desired.
• Design experience using UML is desired.
• Desired experience in integrating with SAP.
• MQSeries experience is required.
• WebSphere Message Broker experience is preferred.
• WebSphere DataStage TX is preferred.
JAVA DEVELOPER - MCLEAN, VA
Responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. Should have experience with hands-on Java development.
This includes detailed software design, developing code to implement the design, debug, and unit test, and integrating the applications.
Preferred candidates will possess all of the skills listed below:
- 3-5 years experience with JAVA, J2EE, and preferably using WebSphere Application Server.
- Design and development experience using Rational tools (WSAD, RAD) or Eclipse.
- Database programming using SQL and JDBC with DB2 or Oracle
- Experience with OOAD and UML to develop and document design artifacts.
- Able to translate high-level system requirements into detailed requirements and to formulate a design that satisfies those requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly end effectively both orally and in writing |
