After migration from version 5 to 6, we have some problems with the cobol copybooks which have worked fine in version 5.
We used to give the copybooks .cbl as extension. The WMB6 toolkit is expecting a complete cobol program when you use this extension. When we rename the copybooks to .cpy it works fine.
Where can you configure the toolkit to handle .cbl files as data structure, instead of a conplete program?
When I use google, i see many websites explaining that you can find this option under "window\preferences\imports" but we can't find this in our toolkit.
Toolkit version 6.0.2
Does somebody has a solution for this? Renaming the copybooks is not an option because then we will lose history information in our version control system. _________________ Regards,

I've found a solution:
Go to Window\preferences\Workbench\Capabilities
Make sure that Enterprise Java is checked.
Click OK.
If you open preferences again, you will see that Importer is now available. |
