Strange error happened with SAP Adapter today. Message broker puts messages in queue for sending to SAP, works OK for a while, then SAP adapter just stops consuming messages and messages stays in queue. No errors, nothing. After I stopped and started the adapter service in Windows it work fine again..... for a while.
Volumes VERY low at present, we tested much higher volumes in DEV and QA.
Anybody seen anything like this?
• WBIA Framework 2.6.0 + 2.6.0.4 (Fixpack) + API 1.8.1 Fixpack)
• SAP Adapter + Fixpack (not sure about versions now, not at machine)
Thanks
PS: Never did this in QA and DEV, but went live last weekend so our friend Murphy is laughinghard. _________________ If you do not know the answer or you get the urge to answer with "RTFM" or "Search better in this forum", please refrain from doing so, just move on to the next question. Francois,
Did you have network problems between the adapter and SAP?
Was the SAP RFC quota all used up on the SAP application server/group?
Was there any reason that the SAP adapter could not logon to SAP?

Thanks for the reply.
I checked all the logs, adapter, MQ and MB, no indication at all.
I'll ask the network guys if they knew of something.
Not sure about the SAP RFC quota ..... SAP servers are about 11 000 km from adapter server so I'll ask the SAP guys if they can check for me.
Usually when there is a logon problem you can see that in the error logs. _________________ If you do not know the answer or you get the urge to answer with "RTFM" or "Search better in this forum", please refrain from doing so, just move on to the next question. Much appreciated.

My suggetion is to upgrade your WBI AdapterFramework to the latest 2.6.0.11 and SAP adapter to 6.0.4 |
