We are having qmgr to qmgr communication by TCP/IP with our partners.Out network people are saying that yesterday 3GB traffic has been flown between channels which is odd becuase we exchanged 3000 messages avg size of 10kb.
Please can you help me out how can I know the total traffic from MQ.

Do a "channel status" for a running channel. Bytes Sent and Bytes Received are 2 of the fields.

Did you set the compression attributes on your channels?

What, the new version, that inflates the message before sending it.
