We have MQ version 6.0.2.2 installed on Windows 2003 virtual servers. When using the M071 support pac to access these qmgr's, we sporadically get the 2063 MQRC_SECURITY_ERROR. What we have concluded thus far is that access issues are only for userid's that are NOT local on the server. Even if they are put in the admin group on the server. Sounds like a doman issue. MQ error log also generates error below. Any ideas??

It's a domain issue - Windows is unable to authenticate the users against the domain controller because it can't contact it (for whatever reason). _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Do you know what needs to be done to fix this?
Aside from the usual stuff about domain user ids (which you'll find discussed in the forum) no.
I'd say it's a problem with the way the Windows Virtual Servers are supporting / presenting the RPC server call, which MQ's never very comfortable with.
But more a Windoze problem than an MQ one. Try a Windows forum from the "RPC domain authentication sporadically fails" perspective. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
