Hi,
my new cluster is really kiddin me. I´ve just created the channels and the CLUSSDR Channel from the XP QMGR to the SLES QMGR started successfully.
The two CLUSSDR CHANNELS that direct to the two xp based qmgr are always retriing and the error logs mention that there is possibly a connection problem. All qmgr got there listener and specific CLUSRCVR Channel running and i can access them when i try it from another qmgr that is localted on the same xp system.

To eliminate the very, very obvious can I take it you've checked that there really isn't a communication problem? Some bizarre network kink that prevents comms between the 2 actual ip addresses in question? On the specific port that they're using?
The network gnomes are capable of anything you know.
Also, do the gnomes have any views on the error code in the log? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

test the connection from Linux with the command telnet ip_adress port_no. You should get a ... connected ... message. Otherwise you have a communication problem. _________________ Regards
