I have Sender channel which was running fine for years.
Now the status is always shown to binding state. Nothing reported in MQ error logs.
What are all the situation the channel goes to binding state? _________________ Jack |

What version of WMQ? What platform?
Do messages flow successfully across the channel?
What has changed? New WMQ version? New o/s? Network/router changes?
What does status show at the RCVR end of the channel? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I found these logs in the qmgr error logs
"-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
06/16/12 22:07:53 - Process(10551340.1) User(mqm) Program(runmqchl_nd)
Host(prdwas1)
AMQ9259: Connection timed out from host '10.28.1.41(1414)'.
EXPLANATION:
A connection from host '10.28.1.41(1414)' over TCP/IP timed out.
ACTION:
The select() [TIMEOUT] 360 seconds call timed out. Check to see why data was
not received in the expected time. Correct the problem. Reconnect the channel,
or wait for a retrying channel to reconnect itself.
"
Does it mean there has been a some problem in network from SDR channel machine to receiver channel machine? _________________ Jack |

Network/router changes?

The usual suspect is the network. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
