I'm still running into problems trying to connect 200 publishers and 200 subscibers using the MA0c pub/sub broker. My tests start running fine until a few minutes into it and then one of the conenctions (not always the same one) dies with a MQJMS5053 error claiming I forgot to start the broker. Since the broker is indeed running, how do I debug this problem?
Also, the queue mananger has paramters like MaxChannels, MaxActiveChannels, and MaxHandles that I need to set to allow the queue mananger to handle larger loads. Does the broker have the same sort of things. Are there obvious broker specific parameters that are set low out of the box that I need to boost to get this to work?
thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know of any parameters that may be set to low. However, there are definitely parameters that you can set. The Setting up a Broker chapter of the MQ Pub/Sub User's Guide describes them. Basically, there is a stanza in the qm.ini file. If you are on Windows, you can use the cfgmqbrk command. If you look the parameters, you might find a couple that are affecting what you are doing. |
