we have a deamon program thats runs at the background checking for messages in the queue,if it does not find a message it sleeps for few seconds and then tries again..this process runs for ever in the background and updates the database when it finds a message..now some times it throws
MQRC_CONNECTION_BROKEN (2009) exception ,can anyone tell why?I knw that this one is for broken qm connection but should we try to reconnect when this is thrown?? please help

You can definitely try to reconnect. It is entirely possible that you are encountering an intermittent network error that drops the connection. I'd look to see if there any other errors that might shed more light.
