Hi,
I'm getting this popup message whenever I start up WMB Toolkit, and also RAD, so it seems to be an eclipse issue really. The full details of the error are:
An internal error occurred during: "migrateServerTargeting".
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.ibm.etools.j2ee.commonarchivecore.helpers.ArchiveManifest
at java.lang.Class.verifyImpl(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.verify(Class.java:241)
at java.lang.Class.initialize(Class.java:304)
at com.ibm.wbiserver.runtime.core.ServiceStartup$1.run(Unknown Source)
at org.eclipse.core.internal.jobs.Worker.run(Unknown Source)

I thought this had started happening when I installed the SupportPac.IA07 SendMailPlugIn node, but after uninstalling that, I'm still having the issue. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I can't find anything relating an "ArchiveManifest" class when I search.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

I'd start it with "-clean" as an option and see if it fixes it. Works for 75% of errors. Post again if your problem is in the other 25%.

Do not use this option routinely unless you have a lot of time to spare!

It was worth a try?

What level of Toolkit are you using? Are you on the latest maintenance?

Are you using the Eclipse that comes with Toolkit, or do you have an existing Eclipse framework with RAD that Toolkit is using? The Toolkit seems to only work well with it's own and you add RAD to Toolkit rather than the other way round.

(Note - I'm not an expert in this area and am repeating things I've been told. Other wiser minds may wish to correct me!)
