I'm working for a project to setup WMQ Server V6.0.2.2 on MS Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 2. The WMQ Server is running under MSCS support.
After product installation, we've performed the following steps:
1. Register the resource type "IBM MQSeries MSCS" in the Cluster Administrator by the command "haregtyp /r".
2. Create the queue manager in the local disk and then move the queue manager to the shared disk by the command "hamvmqm". The queue manager could be startup manually using "strmqm" command
3. Create a new Resource Group in the Cluster Administrator
4. Put the resources (Cluster IP address, Shared disk for the queue manager) to the Resource Group
5. Then, I try to create a resource instance of "IBM MQSeries MSCS". According to the manual, there should be a "Parameters" tab for fill in the infomation, such as the QueueManagerName, PostOnlineCommand and PreOfflineCommand. But in our case, there's NO such tab, and I can't fill in the information.
Anyone has ever encountered the same problem before?
Thanks, |

You're doing this directly on the server versus the Cluster Administrator from your desktop? The client version doesn't always show 100% of the available tabs depending on permissions. For what its worth I have never had this problem and I can see that tab both from my desktop or the server. _________________ Peter Potkay

After unregister the MQ resource type and re-register it again. The Parameters tab come back. Everything is working fine now. Tks. |
